Supporting our customers to build better together
As 2025 draws to a close, we would like to take a moment to reflect on a year defined by increased collaboration, innovation and resilience across the residential building industry in Australia and New Zealand. Everything we have been working on to deliver, has been centred on helping you thrive with solutions that make a real difference on site and in your business.
Across MiTek, 2025 has been about strengthening partnerships, delivering meaningful value and giving back to the communities where we live and work. Through initiatives such as Heart and Hands and the MiTek Walk for Hope, we have supported vulnerable children in Vietnam through education and healthcare. Our teams have also contributed to Habitat for Humanity projects at home, helping improve living conditions for people in need.
In Software, we continued to enhance our offerings with a strong focus on roof design capabilities to support further adoption. Through webinars, Blueprint newsletters and customer education, we have ensured the benefits of our software are communicated clearly, consistently and we would welcome any suggestion on how we can improve further. Looking to 2026, we will continue to build on a customer-focused software development roadmap and refine deployments using best-practice methodologies that have evolved over the past 18 months.
Automation reached new milestones in 2025. Enhancements across key solutions, including the Ranger, Blade Saw and FlowMax integration. The installation of our second HSPP and Posi Framer in APAC signals a strong future for Posi-Strut manufacturing. In 2026, new product launches such as the Hornet Saw and Auto 10 with Wizard, along with the MiTek Experience Centre and expanded service and maintenance support, will further strengthen the value we deliver to your operations. We will also be working on new solutions for the APAC markets and will share more on this in the second half of 2026.
Across Structural Products and Engineering, new product introductions have helped meet market needs. Looking ahead, you can expect innovations such as Posi-Strut trusses in 290 millimetres and 240 millimetres depths, continued acoustic and energy rating testing in New Zealand and further efforts to engage key decision makers early in the design stage. These initiatives are designed to help you leverage MiTek solutions more easily and strengthen the value of partnering with a MiTek fabricator.
Sales and Services teams remained active across Australia and New Zealand with a broad calendar of customer events, industry engagements, appreciation dinners and technical seminars. These opportunities allowed us to connect with you, share insights, hear your feedback and support your teams. In 2026, we will continue to strengthen our teams and expand events and training programs to help you optimise the full value of MiTek solutions. Our Services team has also grown in size and capability this year, and we remain committed to continued investment to ensure the right support is available when you need it.
In Marketing and Customer Engagement, we launched two new newsletters, Throughput – Automation and Blueprint – Software, and introduced the She Builds The Future program in partnership with the HIA to help build a more inclusive industry.
Customer case studies conducted across the regions provided an opportunity to share stories that highlight the strength of partnering with MiTek and our fabricators. Brand campaigns and awareness initiatives have also reinforced our value proposition.
In 2026, we will continue to enhance customer access to information through the revamped Easycat in Australia, a new website with improved navigation and search capability and solutions-focused content. In New Zealand, enhanced packaging and retail signage will strengthen MiTek’s visibility and make it easier for customers to choose MiTek products.
Operations and Facilities also saw important improvements. Upgrades to machinery and the Posi-Strut automation project in Melbourne have enhanced safety, efficiency and production capacity, whilst new seismic racking in our Christchurch facility has improved warehouse safety and storage. In 2026, continued investment in our network, including the Auckland factory relocation and Melbourne site expansion, will strengthen our ability to serve you.
Our Japan business continues to build momentum. Updated GQ and GE accreditation enabling more flexible design and the launch of a new website with Posi-Strut resources have all supported increased product and system adoption. In 2026, MiTek Japan will continue its work toward broader adoption of roof trusses across the market.
As we look to 2026, we see a year of new opportunity and ongoing collaboration. Our focus is unchanged – to help you succeed through innovative, reliable and practical solutions that make your projects easier, safer and more efficient. Whilst challenges persist, MiTek remains committed to being your partner in building better together and supporting your growth today and into the future.
From all of us at MiTek, thank you for your partnership throughout 2025. We look forward to working with you in 2026 to build stronger, safer and smarter projects across Australia, New Zealand, Japan and beyond.
