We have made a few updates to MiTek Structure that will help you work smarter, not harder. These enhancements are all about giving you more control, more consistency and more time back in your day. Here’s what’s new:
Search and View now sees waling plates

The Search and View tool within MiTek Structure is an extremely powerful tool that can easily list, sort, filter and even colour information within the model in a way that makes you more productive. We have recently added waling plates to the list of information that can be seen within this great tool. This feature rich functionality can be used in both elevation and 3D views.
Legdown details

A number of enhancements have been applied to the generation of leg down details in trusses. These details are common and the changes will improve productivity. The enhancements provide more consistency with the initial generation of the truss when edits are made. Examples like the truss below will now retain their support conditions after web edits are completed. These benefits will be seen in both 25.2 with further refinements made in 25.3 also.
Deleted trusses now have their configurations captured
Consider if a truss is input, then modified, then deleted. Upon reinputting these trusses the system will now remember the details of the truss prior to it being deleted. If the truss needs to be reset to its original state, then this is accomplished easily by clicking rebuild. This option saves time and effort reinputting trusses.
